What an amazing day it has been…I honestly never would have thought that I would be standing in the middle of DC telling people about our Lord Jesus Christ! In saying that, it has been something I will never forget. In coming to this 30-hour famine I didn’t know what to expect. But I knew in my heart that I wanted to make an impact in someone’s life through God and knowing that He was there every step of the way.
            When I think of homeless on the street with little or no food I think of such despair and loneliness that is probably in their lives. So many stories that I could share with you while me and the rest of the group were in DC. But I will mention just one. A lady named Muriel. This is a woman who has been poor and wants to come out of this poverty group. She sells a newspaper called “Street Sense
