The Crazy4Christ high school was off on a crazy mission for God in Matamoros, Mexico. How worried was I to take 25 high school kids into another country. I have to admit I was very worried, so we finally got on the plane and I took a deep breath and prayed and then opened the quiet time for the day which was Matthew 6:25-34. If you didn’t read it go now and read it. It was definitely God giving me an obvious message. Anyways we finally landed in Texas and continued our journey. We went to the car rental place to pick up our 3 Vans. So as he is pulling our reservation up and started to give us the van info, he realized we were going to Mexico and with an aggressive voice said WE WONT GIVE YOU THE VANS. I asked him to explain. In the mean time the whole group went into some serious praying. As soon as the group started praying, he called the manager and the manager said give them the vans. He actually started arguing with her and said its against policy. The manager insisted that we get the vans. God delivered us and nothing can stop something that He wants done. Next Challenge, it was time for the border. As we got closer we stopped and met some other leaders who gave us instructions at the border. We approached the border and kids started praying unceasingly and all the vans one by one crossed without a problem. The leaders told us that never happens. Thanks be to God and thanks to our family, friends, and church prayers. We can’t do this without you. Anyways we finally got to the camp and honestly these conditions are one of the worst I have seen on missions with weather and bugs. The High School kids are tough and are fighting through the conditions and the warfare. They are doing so great. I am so proud of them. More to come stay tuned and stay praying. God Bless you all.

  8. Just as Paul sent Timothy out to love and preach in today’s quiet time, you have also been sent at the end of this Apostles Fast to do the will of God… Continue to go forth with boldness and embracing the power of prayer!

  9. I am so proud of you guys! Although it was really funny reading about alleged scorpion bites, faulty mosquito repellant and excessive sweating, I was so glad to see all of you have had touching experiences with the locals. God has already revealed a lot to you guys, which is so amazing to me because your trip has just begun! I am excited to see what else He has in store for you before you return home …

  10. Please pass this message on to Youssef

    Dear Youssef,

We miss you so much. We watch your pictures every day on this blog. Today we received your grades for the 2 AP tests you took. You got grade 4 in each of them. We are really very proud of you.

As for your trip, we are sure that you show Jesus and his love to all the people you deal with during your trip as much as you see Jesus in every one that you meet and learn how He cares for and loves every body especially those ones whom you see now. He was Himself one of those poor people and He might now be any one of them.

I want each of you to know how excited we are for your return. I know God worked in great ways and the best part is Mexico is only the begining - God called each of you there for the work you will do in you schools and churches when you come back. AS I read throuugh all of the blogs, I felt so encouraged how God is working in your lives and I’m so excited for all of you. Sarah - I miss you so much and I’m so proud of you and can’t wait for you to come back. You are so full of Christ and such an inspiration to our entire family.
