Christine Malati
Our God is a dynamic God. King David says in the first psalm, “ [the blessed man] will be planted by the rivers of water.” Last year’s trip to Africa was absolutely amazing. Friends and family ask why I returned to Africa, and I tell them our God is a dynamic God. He has a different message for me this time, and He began to whisper months before this trip. The challenge and our goal for this year’s trip is to remove all expectations. Now I have experience with mission; now I have experience with tasting the sweetness of the Lord in quiet time in Africa. If I expected the same experience as last year’s trip, I would be placing limits and boundaries on our infinite God. Initially, I prayed that my relationship with Him would go to the next level, but this too placed a limit on Him. Now I pray that “He will make me walk on my high hills.” (Habakkuk 3:19). I pray that I learn to approach any spiritual activity (retreat, Bible study, small group) with no expectations, because I know that this is when God will provide infinite blessing. “Great is Your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:23)

Christine - You are absolutely right - we can’t limit God….God bless you and the group!
Christine , this reminds of the scripture’s verse ” The LORD answered Moses, “Is the LORD’s arm too short? You will now see whether or not what I say will come true for you.”
Numbers 11:23
His powers and strength are unlimited by any and all measures .
What a great job you all doing down there ! it is amazing and very encouraging to see our youth so enthousiasticly serving God.
May God bless all of you.
