I missed you family and friends, soooooooooooooooo much!! So far, our trip has gone pretty well, I got chased by 2 lions and then abouna Abraham tackled them down, I got kidnapped by the rebel army and then released because they thought I was too weak to dig for diamonds, The chief of the 72 Zambian tribes released me from being offered as a sacrifice to the gods because he wanted to save the fire, and I got Malaria twice and took an ancient elephant -tongue treatment that healed me instantly. As for the spiritual side of the mission, I cannot begin to explain how much God has revealed to me in only these first 2 weeks. Attending my first liturgy here with a Zambian priest named Father Mark was probably the most exciting experience so far. It was incredible

I miss you so much and kind of wish you werent staying in Africa all summer but God has been making it more clear to me everyday that he placed each of us in exactly the right spot, with exactly the right people for a very specific purpose and that this summer will by no means be ordinary but God is using this time to shape and mold us and challenge us so that we can love him more. This is a summer of growth and transformation, I cant wait to hear about what he’s doing in Africa and to share with you what he has done here in lil blacksburg. I miss you so much but i’m so happy that God is working all over the world!

The vocabulary words can not explain to you about how much we miss you here. You made a diffence already to the lives of people over there. You should go the extra mile and do not waste any time without making something big for Christ. I hope that you can wash some feets before coming or else do not come back. You have time I think. Or I might come to you overthere.
We look up to you but do not be so proud because you have to do more in your “great” future years.
