David Benjamin-Philly
The love of God for His creations. It was the same thing that helped us last year when i went on this mission trip. There were lots of new people that we met this week. During the cookout on Sunday, we got to see my old friend from last year Richard. God has blessed him and he is a good christian. On friday, he will be getting married. When we were at the coffeehouse, we met another christian named Gregory. He and i made up a christian poem. Here is how it goes
“Every challenge that we face
It is no problem in God’s grace.
It’s never easy; just keep the faith
There is a struggle between mand sin,
I pray to God-will this war evern end.
As i slept, an angel awaken
with order from GOd
This war would end immediatley
So to God i say, I cant wait for inservitude I will return
to my celestrial state.”
People loved the poem and Gregory read it with me at the BBQ. The whole week, we did VBS. I was supposed to teach kids about Jesus and His life so that they can become better people. Most of teh kids enjoyed it. Unfortunately, our car was broken into. Nothing was stolen or anything but last year the same thing happened and our camera was stolen. Our group went and cleaned up a church. We were sweating and tired but we did it to serve God. This mission trip helped me to get closer to God and make new friends. I pray to help the people in Philly in your name, Amen

Dearest David,
Glory be to God, for He is Good.
We have been praying that God be glorified through you, your youth group, and this Mission Trip.
God has answered our prayers, and is with you and amongst your whole group on this Mission Trip. His awesome grace has blessed each of you, through your service.
1 Corinthians 10:31:
31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
Lord’s Will, can’t wait to see everyone returning safely this evening to Saint Mark Church, Virginia! Have a blessed, fun, and safe trip back to VA:)
Love,
