Lena Razzouk-Philly

Wow! This mission trip has been amazing with all the miracles that God did.  Before I came here I was not excited at all.  I mean i already came to philly last year for a mission trip.  I was thinking why would God want me to go to the same place again. Why not somewhere different?  Well God has made it clear to me that He wanted me to go so that i can remember how people lin in the inncer city of philly.  Also to not take things for granted.  Also to realize how powerful prayer is.  Also to get closer to Him. One of the days we had a cookout.  What we did is we served the people food.  While the homeless people were walking in I was scared.  So i took someone to the side with me and pray.  Just by praying it helped me soo much.  In the morning while we were picking up trash outside from the ground I was soo tired.  But later during the day I felt better.  I was not tired anymore.  That was from God whol helped me.  A lot of the people in the philly are really nice, the sad part is to see how they live.  I am soo thankful that i came to this mission trip.

  1. That’s great that you kept your mind open to God’s purposes for this trip! Whenever He takes us in the service, it’s not just to serve others but because that’s where we see and encounter Him and know His power and strength. There’s nothing anyone of us does apart from His strength to do it. I’m glad you got to see that for yourself! :)

  2. Good Job Lena!! I’m proud of you. It’s great how you learned to depend on God and lean on him for everything.
